Alvaro is an experienced investor with investment banking and private equity experience during which he has worked with companies across a range of industries.
Prior to Astara, Alvaro was an Associate at Trinity Hunt Partners, a growth-oriented private equity firm focused on making control equity investments in diversified business and healthcare services companies. Alvaro began his career as an investment banking analyst in the Latin America group at Citi.
Alvaro earned a BSBA in Economics from the University of Arizona. Outside of work he enjoys playing tennis, squash, and exploring new restaurants.
